Spencer Mossman came to me wanting a logo for his Football analytics social media page. We decided on few key words that represented the brand in order to dictate the creative direction of the logo: Analysis, Data, Sharp, Precision, Intelligence, Simplicity and of course Football. After a few ideas, we finally decided on a sharp, simple monogram of ‘MA’ for Mossman Analytics that also creates the shape of a Football player’s legs about to kick a ball. The leg’s are also similar to a bar chart, connecting the logo back to the data analysis side of the brand.
