ENGLAND QUADBALL

YEAR: 2024

DELIVERABLES: Primary Logo, Alternate Logos, Kit Template Design

Quadball UK - Team England came to me wanting to refresh their logo ahead of the European Championships in Summer 2024. They felt their old logo was too, ‘cliparty’ and ‘thrown together’. The logo was designed by a committee and therefore was marred slightly by too many opinions and as a result lost some of its personality. They wanted their new logo to feel more professional, unique, have better applied England imagery and be able to stand the test of time.

THE BADGE DESIGN

We decided on a modernised Coat of Arms style badge that would include a few elements that come together to represent the sport of Quadball and the nation of England. To represent England, we included a Lion as the main figurehead inside a shield surrounded by roses. The coat of arms style itself also links to English heritage.

To represent Quadball, seven roses can be seen for the seven players on a Quadball team and the primary rose at the bottom has Snitch wings attached, a subtle link to the Harry Potter sport Quidditch from which Quadball finds its roots.
