DELIVERABLES: Primary Logo, Alternate Logos, Website Design, T-Shirt Design, Van Decals
Davison Tree care is a tree surgery company based in Yorkshire, UK. They came to me wanting a simple logo that expresses nature, functionality and professionalism.
We felt that a simple geometric tree suited the brand perfectly, it’s simple, practical and instantly shows what the brand is all about. The design of the tree also looks a like a cross, crosses are synonymous with aid and care, another link to the tree care provided by the company.
THE TYPE & OTHER DELIVERABLES
As for the type, we wanted to find a font that was strong and solid, to show the company’s professionalism and practicality. We chose Rogue Sans Extended, but I simplified it slightly by straightening and smoothing the edges of some of the letters.
I also created a badge design that included a circular saw circling the logo, which connected the logo to the tools they use in the company.
Again for the business card, t-shirt and van design, they wanted simplicity and practicality, so I kept it minimal and just added the bare essentials.
I also designed them a website. We wanted to keep it simple whilst also showing off much of the work they do. We took lots of pictures of the team at work, and included them on website paired with important information about the company.
